Thank you to everyone who showed up and donated time and muscle on Friday! It was a fantastic success with sticks and debris hauled out of culverts, weeds hacked and cleared around the tennis shed, the forge and its field finely trimmed, new stairs built for the dam house, Western Lookout (or West Rock to some) cleared and freshly marked, the cemetery was given a clean out and summer makeover, and, perhaps the most appreciated, the raft was lifted and placed in the lake to signal the official start of our summer. A shout out to Ethan G. for managing the grill and feeding the masses (along with the lovely extras donated by others). The day was a reminder of how lucky we all are to share this beautiful wilderness and to be part of our incredible, supportive community. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
