Dear Mount Riga Community,
This message serves to inform you that Dan Brazee Jr’s contract with Mount Riga, Inc. has been terminated. He will be stepping away from his security and maintenance duties effective immediately. The Mount Riga community will always be appreciative of the care Dan has taken and the work he has carried out to help us protect and maintain our unique community over the course of the past decade. We wish Dan the best in his future endeavors.
Mount Riga, Inc. has hired Thomas Brazee to take over the security role; he will begin patrolling the Mountain roads this week (Thursday, August 22nd). Thomas will also be monitoring the dams and dealing with emergency situations. Thomas’ cell number is (860) 318-1677. Text is often better due to cellular coverage. Particularly in the beginning weeks, identify yourself clearly; it will take time for Thomas to learn who we all are and where we live.
Please, do not call Thomas with personal emergencies; he is neither a personal concierge nor a towing service. If you have a medical/life threatening emergency, call 911, and then call/text Thomas. He will help co-ordinate with emergency responders. As always, for non-emergency maintenance or security matters, contact Chair of Maintenance & Security, Andrea Combes (401) 477-0766.
Thomas lives at the bottom of the Mountain with his wife, Therese. He is the head of the Salisbury Road crew, and works Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm. Thomas is very familiar with Mount Riga, having spent his life “in and around these parts”. Please join me in welcoming Thomas by introducing yourselves when you see him on the road.
The mowing/maintenance will be taken over by Nick Brazzale Landscaping.
MRI is grateful for your patience and support as we make our way through this transition. Please contact me or Andrea Combes if you have any concerns or questions.
Best Regards,
Ana Chrysler, President
