The Appalachian Mt. Club (AMC) is replacing the Brassie Brook and Riga shelters on the Appalachian Trail this summer/fall. Most of the work will be done from their staging area on Bunker Hill Rd. On Sept 17, a helicopter will be making multiple trips transporting materials in and debris out. We’ve given AMC limited permission to open and use the Paradise Trail for some of their work (foot traffic only, some Weds and Saturdays, Aug 3-Oct 15). The trail is not open to the public.
