The Maintenance and Security Committee will be sponsoring a community volunteer work day on Saturday, July 1st between 9-12. Please plan on gathering at the Forge with your implements of destruction (rakes, clippers, hacksaws, scythes or whatever bramble and weed tackling tools you have.) A hotdog feast will follow for all volunteers! Please contact Andrea Combes at [email protected] or Ethan Gee at [email protected] with any questions.
June 22, 2023 at 2:04 pm #51003Ethan GeeKeymasterHello Mountain Community!
Community Volunteer Work Day, a tradition started by Alice, is taking shape. We expect to have a reasonable number of projects which should include Cemetery clean-up, Tennis Courts clean-up plus shed clean-up, West Rock trail maintenance and perhaps some localized invasive clean-up. Should anyone have a project suggestion, please contact Andrea or me directly (emails in above post). We will have a hotdog cookout starting at ~noon to include refreshments (soda, water, beer).
See you there!

In record time we expertly executed on 3 clean-up projects and the results are fantastic.
I look forward to tackling a few more projects with you all next summer!
