ALL MRI RESIDENTS: Now that the 2023 summer season is over, ALL MRI gates should be kept locked at all times. This means whenever the gate is unlocked for travel, the gate should then be immediately locked up again. If you are staying for a night or weekend, the gate should remain locked during your stay. With leaf peeping season at its peak, the gates must be locked in order to deter any curious visitors as well as ensure the security of our camps. There have been multiple reports of the North Pond Gate being left open which is leaving all of our community vulnerable to trespassing.
Also, a reminder that November 1st is the start of hunting season. Not only is this an additional reason to keep our residential gates locked, but if you are up on the mountain, please practice woods-safety by wearing blaze orange prominently (and for your dogs too!)
