The February 28, 2020 webpost notified the community that Elise Liebeskind Hotaling plans to sell her camp on Riga Lake, and gave a brief description. MRI has a Right of First Refusal (ROFR) on the property. As reported in the President’s Update June 2020, the Directors adopted a resolution of intent to exercise its ROFR (with conditions). In the event that MRI becomes the new owner of the property, the Board is considering options. One is to sell the buildings on a ground lease (similar to Camp Ozone). At this time, the Board would like to hear expressions of interest from MRI community members who wish to be considered as possible bidders in such an arrangement.
